Good morning from my office on Broadway in Seattle. It is a Friday in the realm, and I am just getting started on my asset inventory ahead of a major renovation coming up in November. It is a typical rainy day here in Seattle and the traffic is a fucking nightmare on Capital Hill, and I hate every fucking minute I am here because of it.
Traffic can literally set my mood for the entire day ahead of me. Just one or two fucknozzles driving around me can ruin my entire day because of their stunning stupidity. For example, a clown decided to ride right behind me with his high beams on high, and a ridicuoulus number of high-intensity fog and roof lights beaming full power. If I changed lanes, he would change lanes. If I slowed down, he’s slow down. It’s clowns like this who end up getting shot in some kind of road-rage incident, just because he thought is was “funny”.
But I digress.
Headlines That Caught My Eye This Morning
Item 1: Revealed: how Putin plans to flood West with migrants
Both Russia and China are actively trying to undermine the West. Putin with Europe, and Xing with the US.
Our news cycle is filled with news of “migrants” crossing the border seeking asylum, but the image that gets stuck in your mind are of migrants coming from Central America. What you aren’t being told is that there is also a fairly large influx of ‘migrants’ coming from Asia and India.
Item 2: Obesity now greater risk to global health than hunger
Being a “morbidly obese” man myself, I can speak volumes about this. I’ve weighed as much as 365 lbs before losing a shit-ton of weight about six years ago. I got my fat ass all the way down to a light-weight 230 lbs, which was my normal ‘fighting weight’ throughout most of my adulthood. Thirty lbs of that was excess skin that had no where to go.
• I can tell you from personal experience that if you weigh above 265 lbs, then you are a person who has serious trouble wiping your own ass.

In case you were wondering why fat people stink.
But how did Americans (mostly) end up with all this fucking weight?
High Fructose corn syrup, that’s how. It’s highly addictive and the more you eat, the more you want.
Sugar causes diabetes — this has been known for a LONG time. But what most people have yet to learn is that sugar and high fructose corn syrup also causes non-alcoholic fatty liver, or fibrosis. It is estimated that 80-100 million adults in the U.S. have fatty liver disease and many do not know they have it.
I have it, and it sucks.
Your liver controls how fat you are. If you have NAFLD, then chances are you don’t know about it until it reaches stage 4 fibrosis, or worse, NASH. By then, there is almost nothing you can do to prevent taking on a lot of fat because your liver is no longer able to get rid of it. Diets don’t work.
The key is FIBER, and a lot more than you can get through normal eating. I take a fiber supplement, and it is clearing me up fairly well. My weight is currently hovering around 250 lbs, but like I say, thirty pounds of that is excess skin hanging like a skirt around my middle. For $25,000 I can have it surgically removed, but why bother?
Item 3: How Biden aides are trying to shield the president from protests
In the modern era, presidents usually live inside of a bubble set up by their aids and handlers. They aren’t privy to the usual flood of ‘information’ that us normal mortal citizens are exposed to.
I am sure that Biden probably has almost zero idea of the ‘uncommitted’ votes he’s received in the states that have that choice on the ballot. He probably hasn’t been completely informed of the loud chattter out here about his age and … congnitive abilities.
Aids typically try to keep their POTUS happy and upbeat about the news. The filters around a POTUS makes me wonder how they could ever make an ‘informed’ decision about things and not know about the swirling bullshit out in the public arena.
Item 4: An attack on the Capitol 70 years ago set the stage for Jan. 6 cases
A pretty interesting story for those who forgot about Puerto Rico’s protests in the 1950s. Today’s conservatives can blame themselves for the statues being used to prosecute the January 6 defendants.
Item 5: ‘It’s Like Survivor’: Cable News Braces For The Great Pay Cut
This is a story that gives me a heavy boner.
The talking heads on cable news have always been the most over-paid stupid humans on the planet. Ninety percent of them have never held another job in their fucking lives, yet they spend their entire ‘shows’ telling us how we should be living our lives.
Item 6: They are TV’s ghosts — networks that somehow survive with little reason to watch them anymore
MTV, Discovery, AMC, USA, ABC, CBS, NBC … just to name a few off the top of my head. Streaming platforms are eating their lunch.

American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders – Netflix
An investigative journalist pursuing a political conspiracy known as the Octopus is found dead in his hotel room; decades later, new details emerge.
This is based on actual events of theft, murder, and coverup that seems to include not only people in the highest corridors of power in this country, but throughout the entire planet. This show has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

I receive dozens of memes in my Meme Box on a daily basis from people all over the landscape. Some are political, some topical, but most are just everyday events with a little fun inserted. My absolute favorite are just photos that will speak those thousand words clearly.
Technically, they aren’t afraid of Trump, they are afraid of his supporters.
I thought I had every album out there… I guess not.
